Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Ochsner Health Center – EC HealthNet (Rush)

Location: Meridian, Mississippi.

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 for experienced LPNs.

We are currently offering a $10,000 sign‑on bonus for experienced LPNs joining our clinic team at Ochsner Health Center – EC HealthNet in Meridian, MS, supporting a variety of outpatient specialty and primary care services.

Education
Required:
High school diploma or equivalent.

Nursing Experience:
Required:
    • Experience maintaining confidential patient information.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced clinical environment with minimal supervision.

Certifications:
Required:
  • Current LPN License in the state of Mississippi.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Preferred:
  • IV Therapy credentials.

Primary LPN Responsibilities:
  • Apply the Nursing Process—data collection, planning, implementation, and evaluation—to deliver safe, high‑quality patient care.
  • Provide care addressing physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs appropriate to the patient’s age and condition.
  • Communicate clearly, compassionately, and professionally with patients, families, visitors, and team members to support an excellent patient experience.
  • Adapt positively to rapid workflow changes as clinic and patient needs evolve throughout the day.
  • Maintain personal professional development, ensuring all required skills, competencies, and credentials remain current.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
